We also offer the latest sedation options for our patients.

Nitrous
(Laughing Gas)

A safe sedative that is combined with oxygen and inhaled through a small mask during treatment. This mild sedative will not put a patient to sleep.

Valium

Anxiety-reducing drugs, such as Valium won’t put you to sleep. Instead, it will simply relax you to the point of being able to undergo your necessary procedure. Oral sedation for root canal procedures is fairly common.

IV Sedation
with NOBA

With IV sedation, a constant “drip” is maintained via the intravenous tube. At any time an antidote can be administered to reverse the effects of the medications if necessary

Oral Sedation

This type of sedation can be minimal or moderate, depending on the dosage to be given. The pill is taken an hour before a dental procedure, making the patient groggy or sleepy but still conscious.
